Common Kingfisher waiting for a dive (Common Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis))

I built an hand-made hide after having placed a branch in 20 cm deep water. After few hours, the same day, M kingfisher was there. It was the roost he was looking for! At few meter from the objective. As he was so close, it is possible to see the details of plumage as a chess like with light spots.
Details of the beak is impressive (not smooth, but with marks). We can also see that his eye (eyelid in fact) is not round!!!
So many colour contrast between the body parts and in particulars, its orange foots. It is the king of the river & lakes!

Hi,
If you enlarge the picture and look closely at the eye of the kingfisher, you may see(reflecting in its eye) the the zoom in the hide hole, (and me behind!?) !!!!
