Bay Wren
Bay Wren (Cantorchilus nigricapillus castaneus) Seven subspecies are recognized with five of them being mapped for Panama. Subspecies castaneus is mapped from the Province of Veraguas to the Canal Zone. Photographed at Canopy Lodge in El Valle de Antn, Cocle Province, Panama. A delightful image of this colourful Wren peeking out from behind the plant stem. Very pleasing composition and super detail. Very nice indeed Stanley.
 
Congratulations, great shot of this little bird. I know how hard is to potograph one of these, very elusive and keeps inside the bushes and moving all the time. Excellent job Stanley!
