Spangled-cheeked Tanager
Spangle-cheeked Tanager (Tangara dowii) Restricted to Costa Rica and western Panama. Photographed in La Cinchona, Alajuela Province, Costa Rica at ca. 1,524 m (5,000 ft) elevation before the Village was destroyed by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake in January 2009. Lower Montane Cloud Forest. Sexes similar.
