The Bigger the Better (Arenaria interpres)

I don't know how many people are like me and hadn't noticed that the upload limits for the Gallery have been changed. The maximum file size is now 325kb and the maximum image size is 1024 pixels wide x 900 pixels high (whichever comes first). I always was a bit slow on the uptake! The problem for me now is going to be finding images which will stand up to being shown at a larger size. Ron

Nice Turny close-up Ron. I hadn't noticed mate, but I try and keep mine all at the same size on the longest side. I dont think its compulsory to make your pics 1024 X 900 pixels, I think thats just up to the individual.

Thanks for the comments. Mali, I should have said that the maximum dimensions are 1024 x 900. The same with the file size: it's 325kb maximum. I will alter the text of the caption to suit.

Wow, larger than life, great shot Ron, it's been 325kb for some time
but I didn't realise the max dimensions had also been increased!

Great close-up, Ron; great detail and exposure, well done mate. When I first read your post, it reminded me of my son. He's allowed 4 periods of long sickness from work each year, and I have to keep reminding him that it's not compulsory.|=)| The highest resolution that I usually upload is 800*600, mainly because it seems like it's detailed enough for the Web. Also the bigger the pic, the longer it takes to load when BF is running a bit slow.
