Lapland Bunting

It took an effort and a half for someone as unfit as me to hike to the top of North Hill on the Malverns, but spending a couple of hours crawling around photographing this beauty made it so worthwhile.

The view wasn't bad either! And another new bird for me.

North Hill, Worcs

Congratulations with your lifer and what a cracking shot you pulled out of the bag!

Your efforts were certainly worthwhile Pete - superb shot of this rare bird.

A stunning image of a bird I'm still trying to see. Congratulation on all your efforts.

LOL well climb the hill a few more times and you will do it effortlessly the next time this bird comes along ;) sounds like a great hike and experience and a brilliant photo to boot. Love the low angle :t:

Congratulations, Pete! It's a superb image and well worth all the effort I'd have thought.
