Scruffy looking little bird. Experimenting with 1200mm using stacked converters. Subject not more than 5 inches in size, distance range 25 feet. Background is distant trees. Slightly soft. Camera shake is a nightmare even on tripod. End result not bad I think.

That is a cracking shot. How on earth did you manage to achieve that level of detail with stacked conerters?
 
Excellent shot, amazing detail especially with 1200mm stacked! The background has come out beautifully as well.
 
To take that shot, it doesn't just rely on camera and skill but also timing and you got all of them, so the end result is a magnificent photo! Nice shot!
