Carrion Crow (Corvus corone)

Still trying to work out what is its beak
Habitat
Village
Location
Cambridgeshire
Scientific name
Corvus corone
It looks like a bit of fried fish, but could be anything, Colin.

I can't help myself - it looks like a physalis, even though they do not to my knowledge grow in the UK.

It's difficult to know what that is, it sometimes seems Carrion Crows and Herring Gulls will eat practically anything. Anyway, a fine shot!
