Gulf Coast Prairies and Marshes vegetation area, shallow freshwater pond with marshes and coastal prairie on all sides at ca. 1.5 m (4.9 ft) elevation.
Location
Shoveler Pond, Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, sw of Winnie, Chambers County, Texas, USA.
