Bell Miner
Took photo of this bell miner at Glenbrook, the Blue Mountains of New South Wale. Fascinating little bird that sounded like the echoing sonar beeps of the submarine! There were a few of them scattered on nearby trees, each make one ping, one after another and creating the feel of echoing sonar pings around you.

Yes, here it is just barely visible directly in back of the eye. I suspect this is a subadult bird - not very bright colored as yet.
