Bathing (Gallinula chloropus)

Birdforum's Andy Rowlands lives not too far from my brother, so I usually try to meet up with him for a day's birding when I'm down there.

This time we met at Pontypool and at lunchtime we sat beside the canal. I was watching a Moorhen having a bath on the other side and took a few pictures (when I work out how to upload it here properly, I'll show you the video which is waiting on Facebook, but I can't view it here so neither can you sadly).

So I've had a bit of fun today trying to get it done!!

Looking forward to the video Delia. I actually posted a video today of a Hoopoe on here, had problems due to file sizes, but eventually managed it when I saved the video in a poorer file quality size.

Wonderful low camera view of this attractive Moorhen having a bath. Lovely colors, lighting, detail, and setting. First-rate D! TFS!
