Baltimore Checkerspot (Euphydryas phaeton)

Our weather has been downright dreary and raining for the past week, and I have not been able to get out and look for birds. It's been a little... well... okay, more than a little disheartening, so I started looking through some older shots and came across this one that I shot at our previous residence. He sure was a pretty specimen. :)
