Back on his post (Luscinia svecica)

The Bluethroat took off briefly, then returned empty-billed. I assume he'd delivered the small meal to the nest and was now back checking that we hadn't followed, that all was safe for him to take off and find the next meal. In all, I got a dozen or so good shots of him from the two stops he made on the fence posts, but they're all fairly similar so I won't bore you with more.

It's wonderful to know they're still there Ann. You know I came across that card with the pictures still on it from that day we had there... you remember it suddenly lost all the pictures from earlier in the day? Strange, thought I'd used it since LOL.
