August beauty (Irania gutturalis)

so glad i could get a shot for this lovely large robin, they pass by here in a very brief visit, the thing is August is not that hot but very humid which makes birding very difficult.

this is a fresh adult, the adult male is really stunning.

So I'm gathering that it is probably the size of our Robins over here.
