Another new face...
Red Wattlebird (juvenile).

The red Wattlebird pair who feed on my verandah brought out two fledglings yesterday, and immediately spent several hours teaching them to drink fruit juice from the glasses I leave for them in the hanging planters. Here is one of the babies, checking out the odd wildlife they encounter on the verandah. :-O

Astounding! Good fill-flash work ... the detail in the feathers is super.
 
I am not sure what fill-flash work is but I think this is really wonderful. The bud of the red wattle, the expression and the feather detail makes it very special.
