Another day, another Jay :)

Another day, another Jay :) (Garrulus glandarius)

As I mentioned previously; I've up to eight of these in my garden each day, so you'll be seeing a few more pics of them |=)|

Even though I expect these to stay until Spring, things change suddenly. A neighbour building, or one of the female Sparrowhawks spending more time in my trees, etc. So I take pics while I get the chance.

Don't rub it in Chris - eight weeks in the Loire and only one Jay shot (at distance) to show for it!!! Joking aside this is seriously good - sharp as a tack!!

Great portret with good details.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian

It's funny, i travel around quite a bit to get photos of different species... don't have any good ones of Jays or Sparrowhawks yet here you are, snapping away merrily from inside your house and getting fantastic results! Great shots of both species Chris, envious!!!

Don't apologise for putting these up Chris (or not very much 'cos I'm just jealous really ;)) Another cracker this.

Another super Jay close-up, well done Chris...You gotta take what you can, when you can mate.

It seems to be a good year for Jays Chris. Like you, I hope my Jay visitors will stay around until Spring. Another superb detailed capture ! Thanks for sharing.
