Andean Flamingos
Andean Flamingos (Phoenicoparrus andinus) We walked out ca. 800 m and the birds were still at least that far away. I was already ankle deep in mud. This might show 1/5 of the flamingos that were there. A lot of dust devils swept through the area but they never disturbed the birds. Elevation 3,484 m (11,437 ft) October 2019

Great group shot Stanley , very high elevation almost about summit of Alvand mountain , adjacent to our city Hamedan , 3580 meters here !! very nice information about the shot , many TFS MF

What a great sighting for you and for us guy. My jaw would be dropped open coming across a sight like this.
 
what a fantastic sight, Stanley, it remembers me similar observations in the Atacama desert in Chile. splendid photo in a marvelous scenery with the dust devil as the cherry on the cake, top notch, many tfs!!!
