:eek!: It's actually quite "mild" (for this far north, this late in the year). But yes, this little fellow needs to fatten up and learn how to stay warm. It stays a few degrees milder out on the Lade peninsula, where he lives, but even there it will drop to -20C for a few days mid-winter.

I've loved your tales illustrated by this wee charmer Ann. He's fluffing up nicely isn't he.

I suppose it won't be that long before he looks all grown up.
 
so thats why in some years they escape and come as down as to the North of my country where i don't live and have no chance to see them, sniff sniff, my only hope is global warming and another ice age up in Europe.
