I had a very lovely visit to Vane Farm with two keen young birders back in the summer of 2006.

From one of the hides we spotted this Black-headed Gull on the far side of the loch. It was having a bit of a preen.

Excellent capture and picture of this lovely gull. Beautiful setting, focus, color, lighting, detail, and eye contact. Well done D!!!
 
Looks like it shook it out a bit much with all the feathers laying around. Excellent shot D, like the sense of motion.
