American Avocet and Western Sandpipers (Recurvirotra americana and Calidris mauri)

I may need confirmation on the identification of those sandpipers. I don't know my shorebirds as well as I should.

Brilliant picture with these three Westerns in front with the Avocet in the back. Fabulous focusing, dof, lighting, colors, detail, and setting. Superb Jack!

Thank you the compliments Stanley. I should have increased the depth of field just a tad bit more. The two closest sandpipers are a little out of focus. Ahhh… next time.
