Gulf Coast Prairies and Marshes vegetation area, shallow fresh water pond with marshes and coastal prairie on all sides at ca. 1.5 m (4.9 ft) elevation.

Shoveler Pond, Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, Chambers County, Texas, USA.
