Sightings at my local patch. An American Kestrel,2 Norther Harriers chasing a Swainson's Hawk who in turn chased me out of it's territory.Still singing at this date were Song,Clay-colored,Swamp Sparrows,Warbling Vireo,Common Yellowthroat and Yellow Warbler.Carrying food were a Red-winged Blackbird, a Common Grackle and Eastern Kingbird.Had great looks of my first Nashville Warbler of the year!At the shoreline were lots of birds heading south.Including four silent Lesser Yellowlegs and a Solitary Sandpiper.Because of the dry ground a Wilson's Snipe was feeding right in the open near me.
