Hi,

I'm a young birder from New Zealand. I am a tour guide on Tiritiri Matangi Island Sanctuary which some of you may know. Each year, the Forest & Bird Society run a bird of the year. Last year I was the campaign manager for the North Island kokako and we received over 3000 votes
It would be great if the South Island kokako was rediscovered as well! My New Zealand list is 158 from the last 7 years, and I also have 15 species from France. I will make a post soon about confirming some of their identifications.
