Black Skimmers Nesting , American Oystercatcher chicks (1 Viewer)

Last week we got to see the nesting grounds for the Black Skimmers on Wrightsville Beach, NC. Very cool site to see the Skimmers and how proficient they were at catching fish for the chicks; at one point, four flew overhead all with fish in their beaks. Also thousands of Least and Common Tern along with a few American Oystercatchers and their chicks. I've since bought my wife a new camera and will hopefully have one for myself soon. Can't wait to get some better action shots.
