Bird and/or Birding event of 2012 (1 Viewer)

Just returned from Thailand, where one day with Gerry Brett around Laem Pak Bia yielded 34 species of Shorebird including:

Spoon-billed Sandpiper

Very lucky Dave, I am jealous indeed!

My highlight has to be the Abberton Osprey, would love to see them return year on year.

My highlight of 2013 was finding the Red-necked Phalarope at Vange Marsh. The lowlight was worrying that I had called it wrong when I put the news out!
