African Pipit (1 Viewer)

Sorting out my photo's I run into this picture of a pipit. At the time of taking I was not thinking about other possibilities than the very common Grassland Pipit. But now, the bird seems to be very light. I know light forms in Grasslands occur, but I still wanted to find out or this one could be a Tawny pipit (concerning to me, it is that light!).

It looks like a Tawny to me but I have no experience of Grassland Pipit, and I have no idea what the status of Tawny Pipit is in whatever the country you took the photo in !

A mistake from me. The photo is taken in at Lake Naivasha, Kenya, august this year.
Mhm, and now that I have checked the status of the Tawny (vagrant in Kenya) - I didn't do that before :S - it seems to be logical that it is a Grassland... But, I am open for motivations.
Thanx, Stuart.
