Variegated Fritillary (Euptoieta claudia: Nymphalidae) Wingspan 4.4-5.7 cm (1.75- 2.25 in).
Habitat
At the edge of the Llano Cut Plain and Blackland Prairie vegetational areas. Riparian woods along the Lampasas River below the spillway at 146 m (478 ft) elevation.
Location
Stillhouse Hollow Lake along the Lampasas River below the spillway. Belton, Bell County, Texas, USA.
