Pilanesberg bird ID help (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm glad to have found this forum. I recently visited the Pilanesberg and saw many wonderful birds. However, some of the photos I took were really poor quality, and I haven't been able to identify the birds in them. I'm hoping some one talented can perhaps help.

Thanks in advance!

Hesitate to respond....only been to SA once, but no1 would be Steppe Buzzard, I believe and 3 would be a shrike (Red-backed)

1. Common/Steppe Buzzard
2. not sure - my guess is Marico Flycatcher
3. juvenile shrike - Red-backed or Lesser Grey
4. cisticola sp. - probably Tinkling or Rattling
