Moths and other critters in my Cypriot garden (5 Viewers)

The only thing I got last nght that is vaguely, identifiable is the attached which looks to me, like a Lunar Underwing?

I'm going for my first, proper walk here today, this is a map showing the small road / trail that I intend to check out. The trail is named 'Papadies' on the map, and starts just a few hundred metres from our home which can be seen on the same image, right at the bottom, it's the left most of the three pools together, the bluest of the three.

There is so much to explore here without going very far and I see no reason why I won't find Cyprus Warbler close by (Shane?). I don't yet haave my wifes big lens ready for use but I will try and get shots of anything that lets me get close enough with my pocket cam, I got tons of nice images when we lived in Russia so I hope I have something to report later!

Well, that was underwhelming, don't think I've struggled so much for birds since I was last in Indonesia! I walked the trail for c3km, slightly uphill in the main and all I have to report is two, high flying and unidentified Buteos, a couple of Woodpigeons, a few Stonechats and Black Redstarts and the ever present House Sparrows and Hooded Crows. I saw two Grasshoppers and couldn't even catch them for a photo.

I accidentally, honestly, ended up in the pub in the upper part of the village, aptly called 'Piss'ouri so the day wasn't totally wasted, unlike me by 1600hrs and I got a very frosty reception from the missus when I called her to pick me up!

I found, quite by accident, the answer to the first three images in post 18 which I believe are Apochima flabellaria, Adults are on wing from November to April.

A couple more bits here but it's far from prolific as the nights are chilly here at the moment.

Thanks aeshna,
with the spotting on the hindwing, I wondered if the micro may be a Chinamark in an odd, resting position.

Pug, Bug and Slug with a shell.

Pug is I think Eupithecia ericeata, Beetle was in the pool again, the snail is a very common one here.

Another nice Chafer tody, I presume it's the same species as I caught last time.

Hi Andy

If I'd seen PB303102 and 1638599557107 in the Balearic Islands I would have said they were Catarhoe basochesiata. However, that's not on your list so they are probably Catarhoe hortulanaria.
