Since Florida, I have managed to add a few county and state birds. At the state level, I've added Mute Swan, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Henslow's Sparrow, and Willet, while I have knocked off a few more shorebirds from my county list, including some common stuff like Semipalmated Plover as well as Pectoral and Least Sandpiper. Hopefully, fingers crossed, I can finally get Bobwhite in the next few weeks. There is a family of them at a local reserve that have been seen somewhat regularly, although I dipped on my last visit.

Fall migration has begun, with new birds starting to trickle in. This morning I saw my first Greater Yellowlegs of the season, and over the past few days I've been seeing warblers that I haven't seen since the spring. Today I found a new warbler for the year.

This is an abundant fall migrant but is scarce in the spring. I heard a couple in May but wasn't able to get on to any of them. Nice to finally see one for the year.
