We are going to Arizona the first week of June. Will start out at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, on across to the 4 corners(and Mesa Verde), then down to Southeast Az, staying a couple days at Beatty's Ranch (hummers and more hummers :>) ), then on over to the western part of Az.

12 day trip. Any suggestions from anyone that's done any or all of this). It's birds......birds.......and more birds....and pueblos

Wow, quite an ambitious itinerary for 12 days! You're going to have a great time!

You might want to check out the Arizona state archive here at the site:

http://www.birdforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=384

There's a ton of info and links, including trip reports (mostly about the SE part of the state), and especially two listservs you might want to subscribe to (one for AZ-NM, the other for Northern Arizona) so you'll see where the local action is at the time you'll be traveling.

If you have any specific questions after checking out some of this info, feel free to PM me. :t:

Birding AZ in June

Really wish I wasn't going to CA and HA in early June, I'd offer to help show you around the Sierra Vista area. Beatty's should be really good. Don't forget Garden Canyon on Ft. Huachuca - its worth the hassle of getting on the post. Also a morning at the San Pedro river should be thought about.
Good luck
