fujifilm hs30 (1 Viewer)

Hi i am new to bird/widllife photography but how good is the hs30 for this part of photography does it focus quick enough, which are the best settings, is its the zoom enough for far shots like birds and whats the detail of the images like? or is the canon sx40 better|:S|

I can quote for the Fuji HS20 and the Canon SX40, for birds I would rate the Canon as been the better camera, for close ups of flowers and insect I think the Fuji has got the edge. The Canon is also lighter than the fuji.
