This was rescued from my neighbours pool filter, it's sat all day since rescue, under the roof of a gazebo.

Has it tried to drink and misjudged it's flight?

And today, we got one in our pool. Pretty sure it's a different Bat, far more active for one thing.

According to Mammals of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East's maps it should be Soprano Pip. Your third photo does just about show a small bump between the nostrils, and both the pictures of the face show a pinkish tone to the skin on the cheeks at least (on Common Pip the face should be all dark), so I'm inclined in the direction of Soprano. If you have a bat detector then you should be able to prove it one way or the other.

John

Thanks John,
I don't have a detector but the official, Cyprus list on Wiki only contains Common PIp.
