Sorry, only just noticed this. First sand martin Clevedon, N. Somerset 20th Feb. Easily my earliest ever and just 1 day after an individual at Cardiff, which is opposite my patch on the other side if the Severn estuary. I even had to submit a description as our local committee are firmly wedded to the 19th Century, let alone the 20th.
First Swallow 25th March. A much more expected date. Same site.

I have seen swallows today 31 March in Annalong in Northern Ireland
