    I was able to capture two more Spotted Sandpipers at my favorite lake on Monday. These were still in their winter coats. I still can't get over how small they are and how tame. There were people all around these and they just went on about their business of feeding.

    Got this image at my favorite lake. Only my second capture of this bird. I also was able to get one this past fall. This bird is small, only as big as a European Starling, about 8" inches long. Had a hard time getting an image large enough to post.
