Me in Papua New Guinea

This was a local dance group from a school in Rabaul, PNG. They were performing for a humanitarian aid mission the U.S. Navy, along with Australian, New Zealand, Japanese military and civilian medical volunteers were conducting there. I was working with the group. I just realized we could post other than bird photos, so I thought I'd visually introduce myself. I'm the white-haired fellow in back.

Rabaul, New Britain Island, PNG

I see by the camera metadata that the picture was taken during an earlier trip in 2010. And just in case anyone wondered, the image was processed a bit (slight fish-eye filter, colors saturated a bit and background blurred). I used to call this my "National Geographic" photo editing process because it gave similar results to their amazing cover photos. Of course, they made those great photos with fast wide-angle lenses, neutral density or polarizing filters, and shot on Velvia (probably). I didn't bring anything that couldn't fit into a pocket to take pictures with.
