New Opticron 80mm ED scope (1 Viewer)

Also the HDF T zoom eyepiece 40862 has been discontinued. A new zoom eyepiece priced at £109 is available. The previous low cost zoom eyepiece the HR3 41145 is still on sale at £139. What the difference is between the HR3 and this new zoom eyepiece is anyone's guess.

Interesting...the new scope is quite light for 80mm and the new eyepiece is lighter too. Low price so it will be interesting to see performance.

No point in looking for useless and meaningless specifications like field of view as surely no potential customer would be interested in them...

Anyone seen any reviews or had any experience with the MM3 GA ED 80 and/or MM3 eyepiece as yet?

Also, just noted Optictron are listing the SDL eyepiece as v4 now on their website.......I'd like to to see the specs for that compared to the v2 and v3...

I think the mm3 and mm4 are both models in the travel scope series - with the mm4 being the higher quality ED glass version.
Not sure where the new mm3 ga ed 80 fits into the range though.
