Hi Paul last report I know of was:- 16/01/13 -*Snow Bunting*- Cleethorpes Coast LNR - 29 today but mobile. :)

That has been reported mate :)
 
Smew still on River Welland down river from crowland bridge, 5 x Brambling with a mixed flock of Chaffinch & Corn Bunting along the top road to Cowland bridge.
 
Hello, does anyone know if the snow bunting are still at cleethorpes and the best areas for them?

& 2 Hen Harriers TF355385

04/02/13 - Shore Lark - Gib - still today also 2 Waxwing.

06/02/13 - 1310 - Ross's Goose - Sutton Bridge - 4 in fields at Guy's Head with 10 Barnacle Goose TF474215

07/02/13 - Richardson's Canada Goose - Frampton Marsh RSPB - still from 360 Hide also (m) Hen Harrier from c/pk.

09/02/13 - American Wigeon - Fiskerton Fen - (drk) from Scrape Hide.

1 x SEO between the A16 and Crowland Airfield at 1600hrs. Not Lincs but close 9 x Red Kite over the Tip in Peterborough this morning.
 
Nice early walk around Barton Waters Edge CP, Noted species were Cettis Warbler around the Folly area, Water Rail in the Woodland area. Lots of Siskins and Bullfinches.
On the East pit 15+ Goldeneyes.
 
Finally managed to get to Cleethorpes for snow bunting, had cracking views of around a dozen or so. Thanks for info Steve they were roughly in the area you said. Also had decent views of male Hen harrier over tetney marshes

21/02/13 - 1255 - American Wigeon - Fiskerton Fen - (drk) still though distant TF085725
20/02/13 - 1110 - Iceland Gull - Elsham - (juv) on north side by B1206 opposite Turnpike Farm.
19/02/13 - 1636 - Glaucous Gull - Horkstow Wolds - (juv) flew NNW @ 1636.
18/02/13 - 1145 - American Wigeon - Fiskerton Fen - (drk) still (s-w) from hide late morning TF085725
17/02/13 - Snow Bunting - Gib - 24 on shore at Millennium Ridge.

Wide angled lens needed for a change at RSPB Frampton this afternoon. About four hundred Dark bellied Brent geese were right up by the main car park fence, never seen them so close before, a brilliant sight.:-O
 
Long-eared Owl this morning at Deeping Lakes :smoke: distant and only possible with a scope! But one more for the list :t:

25/02/13 - 1637 - Great White Egret - Saltfleey All Saints - 1 flew ESE by Long Eau late afternoon.
26/02/13 - Long-eared Owl - Deeping Lakes - 1 still roosting on the island opposite the main hide this morning.

Not really much happening the last week in Lincs! Its that calm before the storm period.

Long-eared Owl at Deeping Lakes is the highlight of the past week. (reported)
