Warden's Blog gives you an idea of what can be seen:-

I visited Sunday. A few Nightingales have aleady returned and loads of Willow Warbler, Blackcap and Chiffchaff around too. 3 Med Gulls were also present, although the Tern rafts haven't been put out yet. Great Spotted Woodpecker, Treecreeper, Bullfinch and even Willow Tit are present. I spoke to a very pleasant regular there, who mentioned that Little Ringed Plovers and Green Sandpipers were also on site.

There's a map on this page of their website.

There is a visitor centre and a sightings board, plus a friendly atmosphere, so I'm sure that you will have a good day of it.
