Viikki Nature Reserve near Helsinki (1 Viewer)

OK, so I'm back from my short trip, and I decided a trip to Viikki was too far out of the way this time, so I headed to Seurasaari instead (only a short diversion from where I was working). I had two hours to wander around the island yesterday around midday, before heading off for my flight home.

I was hoping for some interesting owls, but unfortunately, didn't manage to connect. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours, mostly being dive-bombed by Great Tits and Blue Tits every time I stopped to look around!! And I managed to add a few species to my (admittedly small) Finnish life-list (Bullfinch, Coal tit, Siskin and Willow tit). I was also nicely surprised to find a tree full of Redwing on the way to the airport through the edge of the city.
