Ich habe diese Form nach Herrn Präparator Aigner am Museum zu München benannt, der als der erste die Verschiedenheit der Form erkannte.

Zu Beginn seiner Arbeit am KWI für Biologie konnte Richard Goldschmidt auf die Zuarbeit seines „Präparators“ Michael Aigner ( ? - ? ) bauen. Aigner war als „Tierpfleger“ vermutlich von Anfang an am KWI für Biologie angestellt , um die in München begonnene Entenzucht und auch die neuen Schmetterlingszuchten in Berlin zu betreuen.
