Today's highlights at the Moors, Flashes* and Sailing Pool **. Early morning at the Flashes was definitely more productive than later in the morning when horizontal sleet/snow was present.

Could anyone shed any light on why there's no perches for possible Kingfishers at the Concrete hide anymore...A few months ago there wasn't enough water for them close in but there is now.
Interesting day only 56 birds but still enjoyable. Highlights 2 waders flew into moors presume green sand but to far to count, 2 oystercatcher, little egret, kingfisher.2 cettis either fighting or mating North moors skylark jay, flashes LRP, 11 Avocet, lapwing, 1 curlew large beak, 2 snipe.
Hen Brook Hide at 8.15am. Insane views of 2 Cettis in courtship mode & eye to eye with a Water Rail plus captured fish. Supporting cast - Chiffchaff & a Wren.
