In the spirit of Sean's quiz to take him to 500, here is one to take our garden list to 150.
We are also 9 short, after the bizarre addition of long-eared owl earlier this week. Details of what we have seen are to be found on this long running thread - http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=15443. You might like to look around Nov/Dec last year for the summary of the first 2 years, where I also talk about possibilities for the future. We have been in the house a little over 3 years, and have added 7 spp. this year, so expect to reach the milestone in another couple of years.
Tawny owl and moorhen are heard only species and may be included on your lists ...
As a tie-breaker pick the species that will be our first BB rarity for the list.
Prize will be something like a day out birding in east Fife.
