A smidgin's worth of help needed please.
This little chap, 5mm long, has beaten all of my ID attempts.
I can't even pin it down to family as the awkward little so and so seems to be made up of bits from a ton of other species! :-O
Picture taken July, damp woodland edge (fen).
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Joe

Thanks Paul. You are spot on!
I just double checked and doubled checked again and finally got the little beggar down to Glischrochilus hortensis.
Much appreciated,
Joe
