No, not really. As Fern indicates, in the end we'll each make our own decisions, believe what we wish to believe, and put on our lists what we want on them. You can opt to believe or disbelieve a Birdforum 'consensus' (however that might be defined!) or a full-scale national-records-committee decision. Up to you.
 
No one’s mentioned “individuals” eye interpretation of colour scale of said “original”, which as we know, can vary between each and every one of us.😮
