Red Kite sighted Sheringham (1 Viewer)

Not sure how to "post" yet, but we saw a Red Kite whilst out with the dogs on the cliffs at Sheringham yesterday morning. We are familiar with kites having seen them in Rockingham Forest several times, and this was unmistakeable. A local told us the RSPB were trying to reintroduce them to this part of the world, first we'd heard of it. It sailed past gracefully on a thermal, occasionally diving to get at the skylark nests on the cliff edge, then it was mobbed by martins, gulls and crows, and flew off towards Weybourne. We're told there are also buzzards locally, as well as a Kestrel and a sparrowhawk, but we're absolutely certain this was a kite!
