Red Eyed Damsel ? (1 Viewer)

Anyone help on this, it looked like a female Common Blue (blue form) but when I got the pix on the PC, noticed the red/brown eyes.
Taken at Borth bog, N. Wales , yesterday.

I think it is a female Common Blue, markings on the thorax and abdomen look perfect to me (not that I'm an expert).

Yes,that was my pick, just the odd colouring of the eyes . . . .

Was it taken with a flash? I've even managed to give Gadwall red-eye before when I forgot to turn that off!

To me the eyes look 'normal' for immature male and immature female Common Blue. Even when the females are fully 'blue' the eyes can have a touch of red/brown.
