Pipit for ID - Ireland (1 Viewer)

Maybe its just the hunched position of the bird in the photo but I see this as a dark looking meadow pipit, the streaks don't look large blotchy and blured as I would expect in Rock . Also the facial markings are a little softer. However all that can change when it is in a head up profile.

I agree with Meadow Pipit, another feature to note is the extent of mantle streaking: Rock Pipit is much plainer above.
