As I am planning a trip to New Zealand somewhere around nov/dec/2004jan 2005 I would like to get as much information as possible about birding in New Zealand. Does anyone has some good advice for me? Of cours eI am also interested in other wildlife.

Two/three places you MUST go are

Tiritiri Maitangi Is, NI
Kaikoura SI for the sea birds

and

Stewart Is, SSI, for kiwi.
