Napo Wildlife Center question (1 Viewer)

Has anyone stayed at Napo Wildlife Center? I read on their website that when you arrive, you travel in a paddle canoe from the river to the lodge - about 2 hours. So, for excursions (other than the lodge trails), for example, the clay licks or river islands, do you have to travel the 2 hours back to the river by canoe?
thanks.
