Lesser Black-backed Gulls, individual variation? Sonadia Island, Bangladesh January 2021 (1 Viewer)

Had a couple of Lesser Black Backed Gulls in a large flock of Pallas's Gulls. Noticed the difference in mantle color of these two individuals with the one on the left having a noticeably darker mantle. Could they be different subspecies, or just individual variation? Unfortunately only these two shots

please add location and date, seth. the darker ones might be heuglini and the paler ones barabensis. currently subspecies of Larus fuscus.
